DESIGN, FRAGRANCES AND OLFACTORY ARRANGEMENTS.

THE PERFUME PROTAGONISTS OF EVERY ART FORM.

SMELL, THE MOST RELIABLESENSE THAT DOESN’T NEED FILTERS.

The sense of smell is the most complex sense organ because it summarizes an entire environmental situation in a single feeling, becoming a vehicle of sensations and memories.

In fact, many human sensations and instinctive responses are generated in the seat of olfactory memory.

So, an olfactory message is double fold: it operates on a communication channel that’s not saturated with too many messages and emotionally involves the recipient.

THE FRAGRANCE PROTAGONISTS OF CUSTOMIZED OLFACTORY ARRANGEMENTS.

When I create an olfactory setup, I develop emotional mappings capable of evoking the desired message in the recipient, involving them emotionally and leading them in the perception of the environment to communicate information through the perfume. The olfactory furniture therefore allows you to identify a brand and its products, all through a fragrance. It makes them recognizable at “first breath”, it crystallizes them in memory.

THE OLFACTORY MEMORY. AN INFALLIBLE IMPRESSION THERMOMETER.

Olfactory memory never fades and is much more persistent and interactive than visual and auditory ones.

The projects, the installations and the olfactory architectures are, in fact, entirely tailor-made and therefore fully reflect the identity of the company. They speak their language.

They can be created for resorts, hotels, showrooms, spas, the HoReCa sector, offices and corporate spaces, events, and so much more.

ROOM FRAGRANCES. SOME EXAMPLES AND HOW TO CREATE THEM.

A self-respecting sartorial olfactory scenography must consider the concept of its DNA and finalize a personalized room fragrance that reflects objectives and intentions.

Citrus: Tonic, invigorating, and stimulating. Perfect for creating a creative and stimulating work environment.

For example, the Bergamot of Calabria. It’s elegant, reliable, and aristocratic. It is suitable for creating an environment of collaboration or for providing a pleasant welcome that invites exploration.

If, on the other hand, you want to set up a teamwork area, the Basil & Mint fragrance is ideal for facilitating dialogue, appeasing conflicts, and purifying the environment. But, if positioned in a sleeping area, its effects can be aphrodisiacs.

Finally, I would like to mention the Marine fragrance. Perfect, thanks to its relaxing power, for creating a relaxed area or to offer a fresh welcome. Think about the waves of the sea and the impact their sound has on your mind, to the smell of salt and the breeze released by the foam that break on the shore.

These are obviously just a few examples of personalized room fragrances, but if you would like to learn more, I would recommend this article on my website, where you will find other practical examples of olfactory arrangements that I have created.

FRAGRANCES AND SPACE CREATE A STRONG EMOTIONAL IMPACT BECAUSE THEY REFER TO EACH OTHER.

Space and perfumes are inextricably linked. The perfume travels in space through the air and humidity, narrating stories of the past and anticipating the future to come. Smells are linked to places. For this reason, in addition to personal fragrances, olfactory arrangements concerning private or work environments are very important.

One of the least explored fields of design, but currently an indicator of new opportunities, is that of fragrances.  We are talking about an intangible asset, but tangible only through the senses.

This too is pure design, linked exclusively to the sense of smell, where the emotional factor plays a fundamental role.

Through olfactory design, new scenarios and experiences can be created and set up.

THE SMELL OF A PLACE HAS ITS OWN IDENTITY.

When it suddenly hits you, it first reaches your nose and then gently finds vacancies in other senses until it reaches your memory. And as immediately as in a photograph you remember everything about the place, as if you were still there.

Wouldn’t it be nice to give the people who have breathed the “air” of your home or office an olfactory jolt every time they inhale the smell?

Furnishing your rooms with a fragrance that represents them is the first speak in your leaving your mark, your signature.
