For this fragrance, I was freely inspired by a study conducted by Professor Carlo Foresta, professor of Endocrinology at the University of Padua, on a particular molecule, burgeonal, which has pheromonic power and a lily of the valley scent.

The olfactory pyramid of “Lucrezia extrait de parfum” was carefully designed to evoke a multisensory experience that reflects the evolution of the University of Padua and the revolutionary spirit embodied by Lucrezia.

The fresh and sparkling top notes of Bergamot and Lemon, along with the green notes of Geranium leaf, represent the young students, fresh to their studies, still “green,” but full of eagerness to learn.

The heart of the fragrance embodies the essence of the University of Padua itself, its core substance. Its Lily of the Valley interprets the research and discoveries of the University of Padua. The Rose, queen of flowers and olfactory notes, noble and sophisticated, represents the authority of the University of Padua, the fifth oldest university in the world. The Rose also recalls Muguet Millésime 2019 by Guerlain, a nod to ISIPCA, the school of perfumery where I studied. Jasmine and Orange Blossom provide an authoritative intensity and tenacity, much like the Patavian institution itself.

Spices such as Pepper and Cardamom symbolize the students coming from distant lands to attend the university, highlighting its international character.

The base notes reflect the solid principles upon which everything stands. The woody notes of Patchouli and Sandalwood emphasize the solidity of the University of Padua, while Vetiver, an earthy woody note extracted from a root, symbolizes the roots that students gradually grow through culture and their future.

The combination of Ambergris and Vanilla offers a warm embrace typical of the Italian culture felt in Padua, while Leather adds a more “rugged” tactile note, representing the intellectual effort of the students.

The bottle, with a hand-cut and hand-painted cherry wood cap, is housed in a box made from eco-friendly, natural materials (FSC® certified wood pulp paper + recycled cotton fibers), embellished with artisan-engraved label patterns. Every element of the packaging has been handcrafted by artisans from the Venetian district. A final work of art with zero-kilometer production, emphasizing the savoir-faire and territorial excellence of Made in Italy.
